And winning a prize.

Here she is as Tinkerbell on Saturday playing games at the library. (A sad Tinkerbell it looks to me.)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Well who you saw as Tinkerbell on Saturday decided she wanted to be Sleeping Beauty tonight. (At lunch time she wanted to be Snow White!) Luckily she has all 3 dress up dresses so I let her choose any of them. Tonight she made a beautiful Sleeping Beauty. All evening she would say..."Princess like candy so it is ok if I eat some" or "Princesses can eat at McDonald's." She was a very convinced princess!
Here are some of my favorite pictures!

LOOK AT THOSE EYE LASHES!

She posed this one herself!

What a weekend!
I started off my weekend with a concert in Greewood. I won tix on the radio station for Todd Agnew with Rush of Fools and Joy Whitlock. The concert was pretty good. I liked Joy's voice and music. Then Rush of Fools was great. We then broke for intermission and it was like 45 min! Come to find out their generator wasn't working and they couldn't use their sound system and lighting etc. Todd Agnew said he had a special guest singer! So we were blessed with....

Hunter Smith (Hunter the Punter) from the Colts. He has his own group Connersvine.
Todd Agnew was good...when he sang! He talked way too much! Julie and I ended up leaving early to go get food before everything closed!
Then Saturday we slept in until about 9:30am and then I thoroughly cleaned Lynzi's room downstairs. (Actually Lynzi informed me that it was Annie's room). Then I got her all dressed up in her Tinkerbell outfit and took her to the library for a special function there for Halloween. About 11 businesses had Trick-or-Treating too. So we went to a few of those! She already has a full container of candy and Halloween isn't until Wednesday!

Here are some pics of things going on the last couple of weeks. Here is a picture of Lynzi before going to school last Wednesday. It was "Down on the Farm Day." All the kids were invited to dress up like farmers.

Then here is Lynzi sitting with Derek. She was mad at him because he was sitting on Annie!

Here she is Blow Drying the cat! She has a pretend make up and hair kit. She then decided to paint my nails with her pretend nail polish.

Last weekend we took a trip to Brown County with my parents! It was a fun time of seeing the changing leaves and SHOPPING! It was hard to take pictures because the sun was shining so bright. I had to find a way to shadow Lynzi's face! She is still cute...even in my shadow...HAHAHA! (AS IF!)

Sponge Bob Sighting

Lynzi and Sponge Bob

Last night Lynzi and I met Daddy in Daleville Arby's to meet Spongebob. It wasn't as exciting as what I thought it would be...but she loved it anyhow.
Daddy had to squat our rights to a table. It was soooo packed there.

Meanwhile Lynzi gets a kitty painted on her hand instead of her face. The princess must think paint isn't good for her pores!

Here she is waiting on a balloon. The manager tried talking her into a yellow balloon..."Yellow like Sponge Bob" but she insisted on Pink.
Here she is coloring her Sponge Bob pictures with her pink balloon.

Kitty Art!

I am trying to convince Gene that that is what it is....

Evidentally he is trying to get to my shoes up above.

ANOTHER GREAT DEAL!

I was coming home today and went passed a rummage about 4 doors down from us. There as an armoire out front. I have been wanting one...I have been NEEDING one. With all my new Lia Sophia jewelry...38 pieces to be exact...I need one!!! It is practically new. I have seen some like this at Walmart for like $40-$45. Guess how much I paid for it! TEN DOLLARS!!! Great deal!

WEENIE WORLD
Lynzi loves to go to Weenie World. It is an out door hot dog place right down the road from the church. We went there the other day. She got an ice cream cone for being such a good girl at school and church. Here she is hugging....a mouse. Perhaps that is Weenie!

Here is her ice cream face....

FUN IN THE SUN

Well after a long day of running around, Lynzi finally got to play on her swing set! Our backyard is beginning to look like a preschool paradise. Lynzi is outside right at this moment playing in her sandbox. She loves the outdoors.

When she got up on her slide she sat there and looked up at me and in the sweetest voice said, "Thank you for my park!" What manners!

Our little acrobat. After just a few attempts Lynzi jumped up and grabbed a hold of the bar. She said, "I am getting big and doing things by myself, idn't I?"

She did a great job at ballet today. Today was the first lesson of the year and she remembered a lot. She has even gotten better with her Hammer Step and Shuffle Step. Next week they get to TUMBLE. I can't close this blog without sharing some more great deals! Lynzi got ballet shoes for free!! Now is that a great deal or what? Thanks to a good friend of mine, Amber, and her daughter, Sydney! Sydney grew out of her size 10 and that is exactly what Lynzi needed! So Amber was sooooo kind to mail them to me yesterday and they made it here today!!!! Then we got to class where there were some used shoes for sale...and I got Lynzi 2 pair of tap shoes for $3 each. I got some that fit now...and some that will fit come recital time! YAY for great deals!!!

I love a great deal!

Today Lynzi and I went to Walmart. When we were walking up the door we found a GREAT DEAL on a new swing set. We promised her we would buy her a new one if she let us sell her Little Tykes set ...oh...about...16 months ago...and we finally payed up on that promise! The swing set was originally $119.00 and we got it for $69.00! It was the display model. But hey...NO ASSEMBLY!!! WOO HOOO! Some good friends of our, Dave and Carol, got their trailer and met Lynzi and I at Walmart and we got it set in our backyard about 8:30pm this evening! Lynzi is so excited to play on her "park". Before we went to pick it up Lynzi kept asking. "When are we going to pick up the park and bring it home?" Now all we need is a picnic table! LOL

Swing set with slide, 2 seater teeter totter thingy, 2 swings, and a monkey bar (hidden by sign).

Payton's Brithday Party

Saturday was a full day for Lynzi and I. Daddy was working in the morning so Lynzi and I went to Anderson Family Christian Book Store wehre they had a celebration for the new Hermie video by Max Lucado. She won the new video in a drawing! WOO HOO!! (Ok, so they were giving away 2 and there were only 3 kids there.

After that Lynzi and I just shopped around and I actually got some Christmas shopping done! We stopped at Meijer and looked around a bit before heading back to Anderson for Payton's birthday party. When walking back out to the car...there we saw...Becky! She was just parking and heading in to do some shopping! Normally I see Becky once a year...and I have seen her 4 times this year!!! What a great surprise!

Payton's party was at the roller rink. This was Lynzi's first time skating! She was soooo excited. Gene and I were a little apprehensive! We just didn't want her to get hurt! She did great! They tighten up the wheels so that really all they are doing is walking in them. Lynzi realized this and said, "They aren't slippery!" She wanted to SKATE!!!! So they loosened them a bit. Then she was soooooooo scared and cried and didn't want to skate. Probably because I told her if she got them loosened she would fall. But she insisted! Her friend Maddie helped her along and they went on the rink. She had so much fun!
