Catching up!
Well things have not been hectic...can't blame it on that. I have just been....tired! I hardly get on the computer at night anymore. I usually go to bed ...at a decent hour.
Wednesday December 17th Lynzi got a phone call from Santa! She was so excited. (I will try to post that video later. I am at work and don't have my SD card with me.) She talked about it for days!!!
Christmas eve we went to our church for a nice Candlelight service. We had more people there for that than we ever have!! It was great. After that Gene, Lynzi and I went driving around to look at lights. It was a good way to spend our evening. Especially since the weather has been nice! Then we went home and put out cookies and milk for Santa and headed to bed. This year...I did not wait until Christmas Eve to wrap gifts, so it was a relaxing Christmas Eve.
Christmas was nice...and simple. We didn't send out Christmas Cards, we didn't fret about what we were getting who. We bought for very few this year. Gene and I exchanged 1 gift...which were pajamas. The rest was for Lynzi under the tree. And she didn't get as much this year...but she did get everything she wanted. Praise God everything she wanted was cheap! HA! We didn't exchange with my family either. Grandpa, Grandma and Aunt Tina just bought Lynzi gifts. We didn't fret over who wanted what...and what in the heck are we getting dad this year! I didn't even exchange with close friends this year. There isn't anything we NEEDED. It was a nice, calm, relaxing Christmas.
On Christmas Eve day...we went to Julie house. Lynzi had some gifts there. She got some cute clothes...as usual, some boots, games and a Ponyville. Later that night Lynzi said she had to find out Santa's phone number to tell him she doesn't' need Ponyville now!! HA!
Other gifts she asked Santa for....
- Barbie with Dog
- Barbie Car (for her Barbie's, not her)
- Bubble Gum Machine
She got that and much more. With her Christmas money she got a V-Smile Cyber Pocket game system. She has never really played video games...so this is a new thing for her.
For New Year's we are planning on going to Fort Wayne to stay with our friends Andy, Krista and Seth. (As long as Krista and I are feeling up to it! She is due 4 days after me! Neat, huh?) Poor guys, they don't know what they are getting into having us both in the same house over night! HA!
I will have to post pictures later. I just had a burst of energy to type...not post pics! HA!
Later!

Here it is! ENJOY! Watch its feet kick...too cute!
You will see it pause a couple times. That is the pics being taken. Then you will see a green dotted line being drawn. The technician is measuring how big the baby is to determine my dute date. He/she measured at 10 1/2 weeks. Then soon after the frame has paused twice you can see him/her wigggling around.

Christmas in the Ocean
Here is Lynzi getting ready to carry the Christian Flag for the opening ceremonies for Awana on Sunday. She was so excited! She recited 5 Bible verses from memory! She got another jewel for her wings.
I am trying to upload the video of the ultrasound. Not sure if it will work, but if it does...YAY! On the video you can see him/her moving his/her feet! :)
Just a quick update! Good day to all!

Feeling Better?
The day before Thanksgiving I volunteered at Lynzi's school to do Thanksgiving Centers. Each parent was in charge of a learning center for the morning. All the kids rotated to each center. It was a lot of fun. Soon after centers were over we had lunch. Lynzi's best friend Laila sat with us. Here is a cute picture of them!
Wednesday night this week was Lynzi's school Christmas program at Bundy Auditorium. This is where she has her ballet recitals. So she felt like a pro! It was so funny when I took Lynzi backstage to meet her teacher and her class. Her teacher said to me, "Oh my goodness! You have to see this!" She pulls Laila out of line and points out that Lynzi and Laila have the same dress on! Laila's was red and Lynzi's was green. They both had on white tights and identical black shoes!!! I wished I had gotten a better picture backstage, but I was using Gene's camera and I am not real acquainted with it!
Here is Lynzi singing along while jingling her bells.
Here is just a cute picture of her in front of our tree. She posed by herself. It is her favorite pose.
